Cask at Acadia. Finally getting to try this one!
A lot of creamy beige khaki head. Lots of sticky lace left. Color is ruby amber.
Flavor profile is grapes and wine flavors up front. Sour grapes. Than all the base beer flavors hit. Lots of caramel and toffee. Dark fruits. Orange peel, raisins, and dark cherries. Touch of molasses. Kind of grainy.
Mouthfeel: smooth and creamy with a nice amount of carbonation. Ends sticky from some hops that still show in this beer.
Overall, a very nice and unique offering. The wine barrels added a unique flavor to this beer. I'd have this again.
