Another great wheat beer from the crew down in New Ulm. Easy drinking packed with lot of nice flavors. A nice bubblegum flavor. Spicy malts. Cloves and bananas. Creamy, smooth mouthfeel. The dry-hopping isn't too apparent.

Largely clove aroma with just a hint of barley grain. Big white head caps a amber of brownish gold clear body. Clove in flavor too but also a grainier malt character. Really dries out quite a bit on the finish, but it is relatively short. A touch of tart, a bit of sweetness.
Nice soft body even with the prickly bubbles and relatively smooth too.
I like this but I can see why some may not.

Appearance: Clear gold, good head.
Smell: Yeasty, clove & banana.
Taste: Moderately sweet banana flavor with a fair amount of breadiness.
Overall: Beer #2 from the Schell weiss mixer. The yeast makes the biggest impression here, giving a sweet banana flavor. I couldn't really tell much of a difference between the barley malt in this beer vs. the normal wheat, maybe less lemon flavor (but why would that be from wheat?). Pretty good but not mind-blowing.

12oz bottle out of a sampler pack.
Smell is banana, vanilla, cream, barnyard and some herbal shizz (lavender maybe). It's crisp on the tongue and wheat-ridden on the finish, mid swallow you can get some bubblegum and vanilla notes. Feel is on the light and clean side , but still has some cream to speak of. Low carbonation.
A good'n. Give me this in a 12-pack of cans, please.
