Orbital Drift aged in Carlos Creek wine barrels. On tap at the brewery.

Beige head. Ruby copper amber color.

Earthy and herbal. The wine flavors show a lot. Grapes with little tannins. Oaky. Light citrus, wheat. Light tartness. Faint caramel malt notes. Lively bubbly feel. Light bodied.

I really like the wine barrel addition as it adds some great flavors.

Double Barrel Drift is a limited version of Orbital Drift aged in wine barrels. Enjoyed on tap at The Starkeller taproom.
It pours a dark amber with a frothy white head that leaves plenty of lace. Aroma is fruity and winey with a hint of earthy funk.
Flavor is loaded with depth. Tart, fruity, funky. Great stuff.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated and dry.
Outstanding.
