L-Clear copper colored...whisp of white head with nice lacing
S-Bread crumbs, a touch of toffee, light nutty impression
T-Very bready...marble bread...light caramel...a touch of nuts...sweet malt flavor but not close to cloying. Clean tasting but loaded with the bready malts. Finishes with a little lingering dry spicy bitterness.
F-Clean, medium bodied.Perfect carbonation.
O-This is an excellent Dunkel. Clean, fresh, loaded with marble bread flavor and a touch of caramel, and nuts. A beer that would go great with some grilled brats.

Pours a clear brown with a ruby tint. Thick tan head that recedes gradually leaving generous lacing. Aroma is rye bread and dark fruits. Flavor has a touch of sweet caramel joining the dark fruits. A touch of hop bitterness in the finish. Feel is clean and crisp, well carbonated. Overall a very nice beer.

This is spot on for a Dunkel. My favorite beer from the peacock pack.

Look: clear brown with red tints. Smallish head, but good lacing. Aroma: clean, toffee, roast, chocolate, a bit of caramel. Taste: roasty things, those bits of char on a grilled steak, caramel, toffee. Finish: clean and sweet without becoming cloying. Mouthfeel: medium bodied with soft carbonation, and a silky texture. Comments: Oh yes, this is traditional. All on the malts with no fruity esters to get in the way. I'd expect nothing less from August Schell Brewing Company. This is one beer I could drink from fall to spring.

This beer pours a deep amber with an average head. The aroma is dense, with brown bread malts, maple, dates, and raisins. The flavor is gentle and slightly sweet with notes of dates, raisins, maple, fudge, violets, and honey. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a creamy finish and soft carbonation. Overall this is a really delicious beer, very smooth and harmonious.

First, what a great looking beer. Nice sem-dense tan head covers a brilliantly clear golden brown drink. Drippy lacing show after takes. I don't know how you can have a better looking beer.
Soft darker grains with little hints of sweetness that are closer to fruit than candy. Some darker bread like (crust). The hops show more than the grains.
Starts with the malt and finishes smoothly dry. Hits of sweetness but balanced by the richer darker grains. After the initial hits of sweet, they leave and don't repeat. Some nutty flavor shows mixed with the bread and grain. Mild hops that add a hint of fruit, but it's mild.
Soft fullness in a moderate lager feel. Fully carbonated and appropriately so. Smooth lager finish even with the dryness.
This is good. Very good. I could kill a few of these.

Aroma is biscuit, grass, spice, slightly roasty. Deep, clear amber with a off-white to tan head. Lager typical mouth feel, if slightly "still" feeling despite the highly visible carbonation. The head recedes fairly quickly to a bubbly cap with short, but thick, lacing. Spicy and bready initial taste, slightly sweet initially, but balanced nicely by the hops asserting a mild bittering in the middle and into the finish. Very tasty and easy drinking. To my taste, this is the star of the Peacock Pack.

Just a lovely beer. Cannot think of any better this side of the Atlantic. Clear amber-copper color. Aroma of hay, flowers, spice, and toasted malt. Smooth flavor of lightly toasted bread, caramel, sweet spice, and a bit of cocoa. FInishes bittersweet. A body of a lager that wants to be drunk in quanity. Appropriately carbonated.

Caramel brown color. Off white head.
Biscuit, caramel, toffee, earthy hops. Light citrus from the hops. Malty, nutty, some sweetness.
Light to medium bodied. Easy drinking. Well done.
