Pours a slightly-hazy golden in color, topped with an offwhite head.

Coriander is prominent on the nose, with citrus (orange peel) being less prominent.

Lightly sweet and quite zesty and refreshing on the first sip, with a good dose of scrubbing carbonation on the palate. A lighter, lingering bitterness if present, but this one has a great balance between bitter and sweet.

Orange zest picks up a bit as this warms, and altogether it’s a good domestic example (if a bit less hazy than some) of the style.

Witbier pours a golden color, with a small, but long lasting head. Big spicy aroma. Flavor is spicy, lots of coriander, light on beer flavor, with a slightly bitter finish. Good body and feel. Overall, very spicy, not too creamy, a bit different, lighter and I like it.

Never warmed up to any of Schell's previous Belgian style attempts. This one falls short for me as well. Pale golden color with a slight haze. Moderate amount of lacing is left behind. Aroma of Belgian esters and phenols. A touch of tangy wheat as well. Definitely tastes Belgian. A lot of yeast flavors. The wheat is a bit milder. Some vinous esters. Solid medium body and appropriately carbonated.

Aroma of spice, yeast. A very inviting look: hazy gold-yellow, nicely carbonated, tall, thick, white head that sticks around. Thick remnants on the glass as it does recede. Smooth feel, good body. Initial taste is spice and slight orange with a solid malt and yeast foundation. This taste holds throughout into the finish, which is a bit dry. No bitterness at all. No sweetness. Just an excellent rendition of a wit.

Solid witbier. Impressive golden color with a frothy white head...Light wheat impression with a dash of corriander...A little dry on the finish. Not too sweet like some brewed in this style. Easy drinking. Close to perfect carbonation and body. Enjoyable beer.
