Poured from a firkin at Groveland Tap.
Hot damn, this was my beer of the night. It had big, non-hop dependant flavors that came straight at you and didn't stop until your pint glass was empty. The aroma had a silghtly funky yeast and grain aroma which carried over into the flavor but were matched by layers of unleavened bread, toast, hefeweisse-like yeast, and grassy/earthy hops.
Here's another example of why this style needs a resurgence - it's freakin' tasty.
