Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of sweet grain, with a tad of fruit. Tastes of sweet grain and some fruit. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Schell's Cream Ale pours a creamy, light bronze color, with a hint of haze, with a big, long lasting, lacing head. Aroma is creamy, hints of corn. Flavor is creamy, smooth, hints of butter, clean and crisp malts. Good body and feel. Overall, a very very nice cream ale, great flavors, great body.

Pours a clear straw yellow with a thin white cap that disappears quickly. Minimal lacing. Aroma is mild, grass and grain. Flavor follows the nose. Feel is light bodied and well carbonated. Overall an okay beer with no real stand out qualities.

Light golden color, somewhat hazy, very fine, creamy head with lots of tiny bubble streams. No distinct odor. Very light taste, as expected. We pick up a breadiness, faint hops and clean finish. Not special in any way, but refreshing and light on the ABV. Good drinking beer on a shady porch away from the hot midwestern sun.

12oz can best by 06/05/21. Fresh!
Pours a little hazy straw with a firm white head. Some lacing.
Nose is grain, spice and a touch of yeast.
Taste is very sour but less hoppy for the style, a little bready. Med long finish. Mild sweetness. It does taste good and fresh.
Mouth feel is a light sour lightly hazed session IPA with a splash of cream. It's not creamy yet it is subtly smooth. A little bit farmhouse or wild. There's a tiny Belgian angle in it with the "spice". Not bad but misleading IMHO that it's a cream ale. Very little lactose yet it does soften/breathe a little over time. It's a good tasting beer.

Schells Cream Ale pours a cloudy golden hue with a small head and a good amount of carbonation.
The aroma is sweet and slightly malty.
The flavor is very crisp and easy going. Slightly sweet and bread like with a slight hint of what could be corn.
It finishes with a slight bitterness and is refreshing.
Overall this is a decent representation of a Cream Ale.

This beer came along for the ride in the mixed pack that included the Schell's maibock I wanted to try.
Keller-ish haziness, golden yellow, moderately carbonated, and a tall white thick creamy head with excellent retention. One of the reasons I like the Imperial pint nonic is I can vigorously pour an entire 12 oz beer without overtopping. Attractive thick web lacing as the head recedes.
Aroma of mild fruit and bread. Hint of spice.
OK flavor of bread, a bit sweet, a little spice, indeterminate fruit, floral. There is little to no bittering. The flavors blend well and provide a beer to be enjoyed on a hot summer day, although it could be a bit drier and crisper in the finish for that. The finish is smooth, slightly sweet, and coating.
The beer has a good, moderate body, with a smooth texture.
Overall, an inoffensive summer beer that a lot of people will enjoy. I'm unlikely to buy it outside of a mixed pack, but its presence in the pack won't keep me from buying it, either, if there are other beers in there I want.

12oz can. Stamped on can bottom is '121120 012960'.
Slightly cloudy, straw colored body. Thin cap of white foam sits on the body when poured. Leaves some lacing just above the body line.
Aroma is bready, slight lemon, and grain.
Taste is mild, with grain, slight lemon, and floral hops.
Mouth feel is a little thin, but has a creamy feel. Results in a dry finish. Excellent carbonation.
Easy drinking beer refreshment. Better than macro lagers.

Can. Clear golden color. White head with lace.
Basic beer. Light, not a lot of flavor. More than an adjunct lager. Bready and biscuity. Not much else. Some grassy hops. Simple.

12oz can with two dates on the bottom. $9 flat with the discount
In the can... grainy grainy grain-belt. Smells like grandpa's beer and tastes like it, too. Herbal hops, sweet corn/malt, slight cream, it all goes down all smoove-like. Not too bitter, not too dry, white bread coats the mouth. I never get sick of this beer, but wouldn't want to drink only it all the time, either. I don't like sweet beer, even though I inexplicably love a cream ale. But this one went easy on the lactose and made it much more drinkable in the process
A staple of the pantheon. It's become a favorite, especially when on clearance. I drank this all last fall when my locale cleared it out at $5 a case

Initially I was not impressed, but now it's really grown on me. I appreciate it for what is is. A good, easy drinking creamy ale that's easier on the wallet than the competition. It's not intrusive or overbearing. A kind of beer I won't tire of before the end of a 12 pack. No flavor stands out yet it comes together well and I consider it a go to beer of mine. Slight grassy hops, light bitterness and malts balanced is best I can say.

Pours hazy gold with a small white head. The taste and aroma are pretty much the same. Sweet malt, grain, and low hop bitterness. Light bodied with above average carbonation. Has a light creaminess. A nice beer for a summer day.
