Information Paradox pours a bright, slightly hazy yellow with a small, long-lasting lacing head. The aroma is weak but has a tartness. The flavor is sour, but hints of sweet, creamy wheat and slight hints of oak come through. Good feel. Overall, a very tasty, no-frills, sour ale.

Poured into a tulip.
Pours a shimmering hazy light gold--nearly straw. Limited head. Excellent lacing and legs.
The aromas are classic Belriner notwithstanding the malt bill of barley and corn. Funky Brett is present as well. Not as horsey or grassy as some but it's definitely "there." In the background, there are hints of some citrus that is just a little sweeter.
A bit of pale sweet malt on the tip of the tongue, and then the funk and lactic tartness take over for a bit. The corn addition lends some lingering consistent sweetness through the entire drink, however, which is an interesting counterpoint. There is also some incredibly well-hidden booze dancing in the background. Almost a fusion of Berliner and Wild sours. The delicate barrel-aging is noticeable as well.
Very well carbonated. Solidly acidic. Pleasingly crisp.
If I didn't know the grain bill, I would not have ever suspected this was bereft of the usual wheat. Pleasingly tart with a sneaky sweet side in the background and grassy/funky to boot. If it had delivered just a bit of brine it would have been perfection. Still--a winner.

On tap at the brewery.
White head. Lace. Clear yellow straw color.
Really funky and manure like. Love it. A little tart a little citrusy. Oaky. Haven’t had an American sour this funky before. Really like it. The dry hopping doesn’t show a ton, but has a unique grassy, floral flavor like iris does.

375ml bottle, Bottled July 2020
Straw color with a slightest haze. This is a different type of Berliner compared to previous examples that I have had from this brewery. Missing is the barnyard and cheese funk. This is fruity, floral, and sour with just the slightest funk. This also lacks the effervescence of others. Still enough carbonation to lift the tartness.
