Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours straw yellow with a fluffy white head. Smells of sweet grain. Tastes of sweet grain with a bit of floral notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Look
Brilliant clarity, perfect shock-white head, and a gold-bronze in color.
Smell
Nose is neutral and rather delicate, but “spicy” from floral and distinctive hops, as well as imparting some of the aroma from the rice character. Super-clean, also: No flaws, here.
Taste
Smooth, mild, slightly nutty, and rather a bit sweet on the first sip. Plenty of hops put to good use with Magnum, Hersbrucker, and Saaz, so it’s not in any way a one dimensional “sweet”experience. And although the rice used in the grain bill places it in the often maligned and catch-all adjunct lager category, it’s surely patterned after a classic Pils.
Feel
Very good to excellent mouthfeel. Slightly grassy/grainy characteristics but the carbonation helps to spread them evenly across the palate, and the hop character is thereby amplified.
Overall, a great small batch pale lager.

Purchased as a 6 pack at Hy Vee Liquor in New Ulm.
This beer pours a clear golden color, with a 2 finger white head. The head retention is decent, and there's a bit of lacing on the glass.
The nose is, well, I'm not quite sure what I'm getting. I get some grain/malt, but, I also am getting something I can't put my nose on.
Taste - There is a decent malt bill here. Grain, earthy. I also get a bit of "heat", but not hot/spicy. is it from the jasmine rice? I'd wager so.
Body is light and crisp. Quite easy drinking.
I can't put my finger on all that's going on here, but I like it.
