From a 12oz can:
Appearance: Clear dark brown, nice sized light brown head.
Smell: Roasted malt.
Taste: Low sweetness, then a very nice mix of roast and dark chocolate flavors. Medium bodied. Finishes with a tasty chocolate chips in oatmeal mix.
Overall: This oatmeal stout from Schell's was in a mixed 12 pack. It's a really good example of the style, and nice to have a non-super sized stout as a change up. Good stuff!
