Midwest Common pours a clean, dark copper color, with a small, long-lasting head. Not much for aroma, weak, but hints of farm. Flavor has a nice grainy flavor, hints of rice, a slight bitterness, and an arid finish. Good feel. Overall, a charming, beer-flavored beer, pleasant bitterness, good, strong body.

I normally don't buy the variety packs, but Schell's had this one in their Harvest Pack. Guessing they're doing a trial batch -

Pours a copper color, big fluffy, airy head that recedes quickly. Taste is lager with wild rice sweetness, some bitterness throughout, but very enjoyable.
