Picked up way too much beer on a recent work trip to the Boulder area. Basically searched for Knotted Root, Outer Range, New Image, WeldWerks and Cerebral, among others, only finding the latter two at the one place I was at. Had one can at the hotel on Nov. 27, giving it a 4 on Untappd and writing, “Outstanding. Full review another time.” Full review another time.” Description on Untappd called for, “Heavily hopped with some of our favorite intensely fruity hops - Galaxy, El Dorado and Mosaic. Notes of nectarine, green melon rind & papaya.”
Poured a hazy pale color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Not really any noticeable bubbles coming up the sides of the glass. Perfect layered foamy lacing. World-class foamy lacing. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled big El Dorado, followed by Galaxy and lesser Mosaic In order got pear, candied peach, passion fruit, pineapple, mango, nectarine, stone fruit, floral and mixed berry. Very sweet on the nose. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose, but still solid. Very sweet still. Still big El Dorado, followed by Galaxy and lesser Mosaic. Candied peach, nectarine, pear, passion fruit, Hawaiian fruit punch, pineapple, mango, stone fruit, mixed berry, floral, tropical pulp and bitter tropical rind. The 8.3 pct. ABV is somewhat hidden. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, sugary finish. (Feel - 3.50)
Maybe slightly overrated overall, but close to outstanding. (Overall - 4.00)

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Gold Session. Hazy yellow color. Aroma is citrusy and bright with some lemon tartness. Taste is sweetish, zesty, a bit astringent, balanced by some bitter citrus peel.
