Thanks, Nick!
Got this from Nick on a recent trip to Colorado, even though we weren’t supposed to exchange beers. I had reviewed three Cerebral beers before with three IPAs coming in between 3.45 and 3.90, and an imperial stout that killed it at 4.31. Hops mentioned on the can were Hallertau Blanc, Motueka and Galaxy, while the “grist” was Pilsner, Golden Promise, Oats and Dextrine.
Poured a medium yellow hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of rocky white head. Some bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Almost perfect layered foamy lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled pine, stone fruit, honeydew melon, orange, berry, Galaxy, grapefruit, passion fruit and light coconut. Better out of the can with Motueka and Galaxy leading the way. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted a little better than the nose. Got Galaxy, honeydew melon, pepper, pine, stone fruit, orange, berry, grapefruit, passion fruit, light coconut, Motueka and caramel candy squares. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, dry finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Outstanding overall I think. May have slightly overrated this. (Overall - 4.00)
