Nice soapy head with good lacing. No standout taste, but we'll balanced hazy and bitter.

Pours a cloudy honey orange with two fingers of foamy head that slowly settles to a thin cap with plenty of lacing. Aroma of peach and melon. Taste follows nose.

On tap.
This tastes like ipa meets those peach o rings. Gummy and sugary sweet. Juicy and tropical. Soft, no bitterness. A fun ipa to try, but maybe a bit sweet.

So that's what liquefied gummies taste like... I got so much of that, and very little of the lactose or vanilla, from the nose and from the taste. Rare Treat is the experimental version of Rare Trait, their house IPA which is excellent. If you like sweet beers, you'll enjoy this one, but it might be too much for some people. Interesting idea, and one that's catching on in a lot of places, similar to a milkshake IPA.
