1st review of this beer on BA. Had this during our May/June 2019 Denver trip. I think this was that brewery where that homeless guy was throwing rocks at everybody and saying the N word.
Anyways, this was the second beer I had that day. Has the light amber dull color with a mild haze amount but a dope ass 3/4" white head with ample retention going for it. Aroma was super mild on the brett, was mostly tangerine.
Taste followed the same, came through as a fruited saison lacking brett and wood. Wasn't bad, but I hoped for more going on. Fell more into the refreshing summer kind of marketing maybe we can do this instead of blue moon kind of vibe to that demo. Had a sourness to it. I'd drink it again on tap, but I can't envision wanting this to go. Just wasn't enough of a saison yeast character, barrel character, brett character to it. Seemed to have more in common with a fruited American wheat beer you order for the other half.
