Poured a 473ml can into a pint glass. A two finger white head on a clear light gold. The head soon diminishes to a thin layer. A decent amount of patchy lacing.
Grain and corn smells. A bit thin in the flavour department. Starts sweet but finishes dry.
A light body and good carbonation. Overall a drinkable Light Lager. Very drinkable. True to the style but there is not much here to separate it from the BMC offerings.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. My first beer from the Thornbury, Ontario brewery.

473 mL can from the LCBO; coded 3125 (likely May 5 2023) and served slightly chilled.
Pours a bright, clear golden-yellow colour, topped with an inch of soapy, sudsy white head that collapses within a couple of minutes. A modest smattering of lace is tossed about in its wake, which also leaves behind a tight collar and filmy cap - looks fine so far. Plain aroma of cereal grains, corn and very little else.
Its flavours are similarly basic: grain husk, cereal sweetness and a hint of corn, with shades of wet cardboard on the back end. Relatively clean aftertaste. Light in body, with assertive carbonation that prickles and prods the palate continuously during each sip, contributing to this lager's crisp and refreshing mouthfeel. Ridiculously quaffable, and not really worth taking your time with - drink this quick while it's cold and tolerable.
Final Grade: 3.33, barely managing a B-. Blue Mountain Light Lager is marginally better than the macro lights, but that really isn't saying much. Its malt flavours are ever so-slightly more pronounced, but in reality I'd be equally content with a Miller Lite - the difference in quality just isn't significant enough for me to really care about. I doubt I'd buy this again, but if you genuinely enjoy light lagers then there's no reason not to give this a try.
