16.9 oz bottle I've aged in the fridge for several months, or a year and poured into a tulip glass shows a clear amber body and floats a proud 1" head of tight, khaki bubbles that persists. Agitation brings sheets of running bubbles that leave sparse, random lacing.
Aroma is malt, fresh air, and cedar.
Flavor matches in a medium bodied, and nicely carbonated, bitter that drinks easy. Wood and fruity stone fruits blend seamlessly with a finishing rye spice.
Overall a nice clean ESB with rye barrel notes in a relatively low ABV presentation.

Taste: Rye bread, raisins, big oak, crisp, spicy, bourbon, warming finish. Boozy, bourbon woody nose. Copper color, clear, with tan foamy head and webbed lattice of lace. Medium to full body. Warm you up in Winter or Fall.

500 ml bottle into a tulip snifter. Released around 5/8/20, had 10/1/20.
Pours a copper color, semi opaque, with a two inch creamy head with great retention and a good amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of caramel, some rye whiskey, malt, some brown sugar and raisins, some cedar/pine. Similar flavors- caramel, some rye whiskey, malt, some piney hop bitterness, light raisins, some cedar/pine as it warms. Smooth, a little creamy, a good medium body, well carbonated.
A good example of the style, the barrels are light but good. A solid effort on a style most breweries don’t even attempt.
