A comforting clash of thick, dripping maple and fresh cracked coffee bean coat this giant of an imperial stout as it makes its way into your glass express from an extended 18 month slumber in bourbon-saturated Four Roses barrels.

500 ml bottle into a snifter. Released 2/26/21, had 3/12/21.
Pours near black and opaque, thick looking, with a brief head and a little spotty cling. Aromas of coffee, maple, chocolate, malt, some vanilla, a little bourbon. Similar flavors- coffee, maple, malt, chocolate, light bourbon- more as it warms, some vanilla. Smooth, a solid full body, well carbonated.
Lots of coffee and maple, as advertised. Tasty and very enjoyable, but the barrels are pretty light.
