OK, this is in NO WAY a Scotch or Scottish ale. Perhaps this was the funny idea of someone at the brewery, but let's be clear: this is a BROWN ALE! Not a great brown ale, but not bad. Nice earthy color, decent aroma, and a nice roasty flavor. A little thin in the mouth, but otherwise a very serviceable brown.
