This place just goes on and on, with an extensive porch wrapping around the tap room. Apparently used to be an old gun range, now holding lagering tanks in the basement, and you can taste that passion in the tap room. I don't think there was a single repeated style on the 20ish taps, impressive. Got a kick out of the "free coors light" water dispenser too. Service was very friendly, passionate, and helpful. If you are in downtown scottsdale give this one a try, a hidden gem amongst the bougie suburb

Cool little place on the southern edge of the downtown area. Tiny taproom with brewhouse behind small bar that seats maybe 8 with a few communal hightops and 2 outdoor patio areas. 15 beers on tap, the IPA I had was very nice. Parking can be rough, but very laid back and enjoyable.

I visited Goldwater Brewing while in town earlier this week. They had 11 beers on tap; I had the Hop Chowda hazy IPA as well as its mango variant. The cactus Kölsch is pretty interesting, and certainly regionally appropriate; I like it. Machine Gun Teddy is the brown ale, with relatively dry and nutty character. Not bad at all!
They have a smallish taproom with an industrial chic look and a big copper bar — very cool! Brite tanks are right behind the bar and the whole brewhouse is in view from the taproom, which I love. There’s also a huge outdoor patio area. Service is good up at the bar - bartenders are on top of things. I dig Goldwater - the beers aren’t revolutionary, but it’s a good hang.

this was part of my 20 breweries in 10 days while in arizona for spring training this past march. this place was nice enough - small, airy, with plenty of windows. the brewery is located at the southern end of old town, where scottsdale meets goldwater. we found ample parking on scottsdale. on tap at the time was a pale, ipa, iipa, porter, imperial stout, and a cactus beer. the pale was disappointing, the ipa good, and i very much liked the imperial ipa. i did not try the porter, and it was too hot for an imperial stout. i assume the cactus beer was prickly pear. i described in my notes as "pink, unique, uninteresting". i wish i was there at 5:00 on friday or saturday when they tap a barrel-aged beer.

Stop for a pint at the brewery in Old Town Scottsdale
Nice setting with counter high tables with the tanks as backdrop
Ordered the hop chowda New England India Pale Ale. Beer is ok nothing wrong but also nothing amazing just ok compared to other IPAs
Service was slow and person at the bar was busy talking with only one person
Selection: not a lo
Overall: not a good experience, not the best value. Not for beer enthusiast

Small place with excellent service. Beers that my wife and I tried were tasty. Menu had 15 beers on it, many brown and Ales (Pale and IPAs). Vibe seemed to be very laid back.

Cool little spot on the south end of old Scottsdale. Tasting room is fairly small but they do have a patio and balcony for additonal seating. Decent selction of beers, beautiful menus, great service and nice vibe. A must check out next time your in the Phoenix area.

Visited at 8 on a Monday. 15 bar seats, and maybe triple that outside. Vibe was chill for a weekday evening. 25 handles, but only seemed to be a dozen on tap, so room for more variety. Location is a slight bit south of the tourist area of old town. I think it is worth the walk to find a pure taphouse in old town. No food here yet, so plan your session accordingly.

Pretty small place at the edge of Old Town Scottsdale. Really dig the vibe inside but unfortunately their service on a rather slow night was pretty embarassing. Their selection was average and so was the beer. Will give them another chance but I'm definitely not in a rush to return.

First saw this place months before it was to open, sign in the window and increasing amount of brewing paraphernalia inside. Finally, after what seemed (to me) to be an eternity, the doors were open and I didn't even know about it!
