Pour is faint gold (hence the name). Smells hoppy-ish. Tastes like a bolt of IPA flavor hitting the back of your throat, in a good way. Easy to drink.

On tap at the brewery. Look is hazy orange with a tinge of red. Smell doesn't give much hops, but there is some sweet malt. Taste is boozy malt bomb with pleasant hop bitterness. Not a hop punch at all, but still a well balanced double. Booze is pleasingly pleasant. I'd compare it favorably to digfish 90 style wise. Overall a very solid double IPA
