Picked up a single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 7-16-20 for $4.99. Canned in late June/early July; consumed 9-23-20.
Beer pour black with a very nice tan head that has some great hang time.
Nose is light cocoa and medium roasted malts.
Taste is very well balanced with the large roasted malt base throwing off some chocolate balanced nicely by the hop addition.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and lacking some oomph.
Overall not a bad effort from a primarily ipa maker. I appreciate the spirit of Goldwater for participating in the BIB initiative!

A: Jet black with fluffy tan foam and sticky lacing.
N: Chocolate, char, smoke, and malt.
T: Follows the nose, nice chocolate hit with some char/smoke flavors, light malt and soft bitterness. A little coffee mixed in with some caramel as it warmed.
M: Medium with minor bitterness, very flavorful.
O: A great stout, very well made.
