Since the raters only pan this ale, I'm not sure why they don't like it. But the reviewers are more positive. Better to say why.
If there is such a thing as too much foam brought on by too big bubbles, then You & I has it; making it an average Looker. Smells are mostly malt, followed by topical fruit with some bitterness lurking in the background. After the initial refreshment, that which is lurking becomes lingering as the bitter hops make this an average Tasting AIPA. Since it is only 4.1% and one should not expect too much from such fewer calories, I'd say You & I Feels just above average... and helps make the lingering more palatable.
My first from Birds Fly South, it seems I made the mistake of having their AIPA instead of one of the their saisons... three of which lead their BA ratings. But I still went on their website and see they are a Mom and Pop shop specializing in farmhouse ales and following their bliss... and why not ? I will seek their saisons.

16 oz can into a lager glass. There's no legible date stamp but purchased this week.
Pours with a murky, pale golden body topped with a towering, frothy white head that has a high level of retention.
Moderate-high strength hoppy aroma. High complexity but lacks harmony.
Flavor: grassy and fruity hops dominate. Despite the claim on the can, this is not particularly clean. Moderately strong flavor for claimed Session IPA style.
(revisited with a 16 oz can in January 2020).

On tap at Keg Cowboy
Murky beyond hazy straw approaching tan color
Nice 2 fingers of head, scattered lacing, no particles
Citrus, orange gone wild aroma
Strong bitter citrus, yuzu? Pineapple going bad?
Dry and refreshing
This really grew on me as I drank. BFS beers have character for better or worse. Definitely not terrible.
