GOSH! I hope not. This one is lightly hazy, the color of hay (SRM 3-4). Occasionally, large bubbles of carbonation race upward. A modest, white foam leaves a minimal webbing of lace on a double-walled pint glass. The head holds firm at a thick blanket.
Mild aromas of yeasty funk and apple give way to faint celery and skunkiness. These are all quite delicate and subtle. Too subtle, for they lack character and development.
Initially tart, a balance of light bitterness and sweetness follows. That bitterness slowly builds in the finish before quickly departing. In many ways, this beer is reminiscent of unripe green apple. It is quite dry and improves with warmth.
The medium body and flannel texture almost have a fluffy feel. Alcohol is as expected. Surprisingly, the carbonation seems light. It has a mild harshness and is very dry.
This was enjoyable on a drizzly afternoon while reading. It probably would pair well with cashews and pistachios, or asiago cheese.

Picked up a single at the Blue Door Bottleshop on 6-28-21 for $4.50. Also picked up a four-pack from TW-Greenville, SC on 7-19-21 for $14.99. Canned on 4-17-21. Consumed 8-7-21.
Beer poured bright yellow with a beautiful white head that has some great hang time.
Nose is bright citrus and tropical hops along with a very nice dose of barnyard funk.
Taste is barnyard city with leather incorporated with an out of place strawberry and pineapple flavor profile. Finishes well balanced with a touch of pine bitterness.
Mouthfeel is very good, light bodied and very refreshing.
Overall the hop choice is a twist on things but other than that this brew nails the saison style spot on!
