This is my favorite Imperial stout for this season. It’s full of flavor and the aroma is wonderful. 3 nations really did a good job on this beer and this is my favorite beer from their brewery so far.

A lovely dessert-themed brew. Served 55degF from can.
L: Dark brown, almost black, with a light brown head that barely emerges before dissipating.
S: Burnt sugar and sweet vanilla. Very like its namesake.
T: Bold coffee, caramel and vanilla flavors. Brown and burnt sugar that has a lingering sweetness to mix with the malty bitterness of the stout elements. Rum-cake booziness if you look for it.
F: Coating to the palate. Rich and oily.

Had this a Houston area World of Beer while waiting for my wife to do some shopping.
Poured from tap into a small snifter. Dark brown color with a creamy grayish brown head. Smell and taste of creme brûlée, smell Ed tasted sweet. A nice touch of coffee. Overall a pleasant milk stout. Perhaps a bit too sweet.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a deep brown color with a small head of brown colored foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is super heavy of a sweet roasted malt smell with tons of milky crème and a small amount of milk chocolate. Along with these smells comes massive aromas of caramel and a bit of molasses, creating an overall sweet and dessert like aroma.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweet roasted malt flavor with the roastiness being of a dark roasted and chocolate flavor while the sweet is mainly of caramel and some toffee. Along with these flavors comes some lighter coffee tastes as well as some dark fruit of raisin and plum. As the taste advances the sweet amps up even more and is joined by more and more milky crème like flavors giving a combination of a caramel dessert and caramel coffee like taste. With a little bit of char and a bit of an increase in the cocoa like tastes, one is left with a sweet and creamy caramel flan/Crème Brulee like taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is heavy and thick with a carbonation level that is on the slightly lower side. For the big, sweet caramel, dessert like tastes, mixed with the toasted malt, the feel is great and makes for a nice slow sipper.
Overall – A rather sweet and dessert like stout with a nice caramel and milky taste.

can poured to tulip
pours a dark brown body with a tan head that has low retention and leaves occasional patchy webs of lacing as it settles to a thin halo around the cap
aroma is chocolate, coffee, vanilla, leather and coconut. subtle, not all in.
taste is a bit like coffee with vanilla cream and a solid dose of chocolate. burnt caramel malt firms up the background and a tad of weird lacto funk that comes across as something more like coconut milk flavored cream. pretty dang sweet for the abv.
moderate carbonation and lighter side of medium bodied. finishes slightly dry and clings to cheeks.
overall:
4-on-the-floor stout. easy but has enough going on to keep you engaged and completely forget a 8.2 abv is hiding in there. not insanely solid but would push to a "i dont like hops too much and darker beer gets me goin" friend who needs something a tad more funky and varied.

The smell and the taste of this beer are the stars here. It has a caramelized sugar, roasted coffee, and a subtle toasted coconut in every sniff or taste of this beer. It is not overwhelming, and would go well with any dessert or alone as dessert.
