12oz canned 7-13-20. Opened 7-18-20.
1/4" white head, short lived. Sparse cap and ring. No lace.
Red, cherry skin colored ale. Glowing, bright...not hazy and not clear.
Sweet cherry, graham cracker, baking spice...cherry pie (?). Glimpse of the Golden Ale underneath the cherry as it warms - floral and a touch of yeast.
Medicinal cherry cough syrup initially. Hint of tart cherry. Sweet cherry is the dominant flavor.
Surprisingly full body, oily and coating mouthfeel. Lightly carbonated. Sweet medium length finish.
Good to Very Good.
