Appearance: Very dark amber body, verging on black, with only faint highlights visible before a strong light. The head is massive, tan-colored, dense and somewhat coarse, exhibiting good retention. Fine beaded lacing coats the glass wall in a thick and unbroken sheet.
Aroma: The most succinct description of the aroma would be: "liquid pecan pie and a bit of sweet alcohol". There are notes of toasted pecans, brown sugar, sweet syrup, cola, pie crust and sweet alcohol, in all, very much like the aroma of cold pecan pie.
Taste: On tasting, toasted pecans are immediately noted, as well as brown sugar, and molasses. Soon after, there is a bit of sweet alcohol, cocoa, and malt that is reminiscent of pie crust. The ABV of seven percent is pleasant and warming, contributing a sweet and spicy note. Later in the taste, brown sugar and some mildly bitter hops bring the taste to a close, with bits of both lingering on well past the end of the taste.
Mouth feel: Smooth, very full and pleasant, with soft carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: A standout holiday or dessert beer, particularly if you like pecan pie, and is excellent as a pairing with a chocolate dessert or. of course, pecan pie,
Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can, served in a La Fin du Monde tulip glass. Merry Christmas, 12/25/2024.

pours a cola brown body with a tan froth head that has high retention and leaves peppered thin bubbled lacing behind as it settles to a full thin cap with defined halo
aroma is full, robust, and sweet; nutty malt with lactose funky sweetness and a lowkey bittering hop presence in the finish
taste is smooth bakers chocolate, stark candied pecan, and lactose funky cream; a faint herbal and earthy bittering hop finishes. hints of holiday spice peppered throughout
mouthfeel mid-level carbonation and bodied; runs smooth and pillowed, if not a little chewy, with a dry finish and nutty funky aftertaste; slight boozy heat to it throughout
overall:
very enjoyable, easy drinker with nice flashes of complicated notes that us ultimately balanced. it's sweet, funky, bittered, and creamy. solid pecan pie rep abounds.
