Tastes more like an IPA than a APA to me...
One of my pet peeves is drinking a beer listed as one style and as far as I'm concerned, comes off tasting like another. In this case (as it is in most of these cases) I have a listed APA that tastes like an IPA - just irks me. The beer has a great look and a fruity and malty scent to it. The mouthfeel is even light and crisp - but the taste? It's IPA all day when I was expecting something a bit more mild when it came to hop bitterness. Anyway, it's decent enough...

A - pale yellow and hazy with a finger of bone white head.
S - Piney and tropical fruit on the nose
T - Medium bodied on the palate and nice easy mouthfeel. Layers of citrus hops, and fruity, a bit of a subdued M-43, but well with the try.

Light gold to yellow in color with a fingernail of dishwater white around the rim and covering half of the top. The aroma is of grassy to piney hops and light malt. I’m tasting grassy to piney hops and light biscuity malt. The mouth is easygoing and approachable.

This is prolly my second favorite Old Nation beer behind M-43. Bought at Total Wine at about 5 weeks old. I liked the old nation stuff a lot, this is every bit as enjoyable as Boss Tweed but not quite M-43, very drinkable, and just a really solid example of well done dry hopping.

Canned in April. Cloudy golden/tannish with minimal lacing. Dank, hoppy, citrusy scents of lemon and orange. Taste is mildly citrusy with a bit of a tangy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, crisp, a bit of a mouth watering finish, slight alcohol presence. A tasty and lighter pale ale, could easily session this one.

Rolled the can per the instructions, yet no particulate. I feel cheated :). Color is typical copper, head is typical white. Nose is sort of sweet as was initial taste, but that fades to slight bitterness. I believe if this week higher IBU this would be an exceptional beer.

Part hazy, part bitter. Part fruity and all green. Old Nation Brewing puts together all that is hoppy in a Pale Ale that works much more like IPA.
Hazy gold and with a burnish tone and tenor, Greenstone first caps with a creamy eggshell froth before drifting across the nose with a fresh citrus medley and a bright green hoppiness. A light malt presence brings the early palate to life with a crisp cracker-like sweetness with light hints of honeysuckle and graham cracker.
With a bright and hoppy punch to the middle palate, the hops of Magnum, Chinook, Crystal and Simcoe deliver a wallop of orange peel, pink grapefruit and the brightness of lemongrass to the forefront of taste. Trending bitter though, the beer's moderate bitterness rate registers higher with a sprucy, grassy and pleasant resinous taste late on the tongue.
Medium bodied but trending both dry and crisp, Greenstone finishes herbal and bitter in a gin kind of way with a medium long aftertaste of pepper, pine and fresh-cut grasses for an overall oily citrus, botanical session.

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, papaya, stone fruit, melon), nice little diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, papaya, stone fruit, melon), nice little diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden pretty nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty beer. Orange Julius! Addictive! Milk Shake.

Pours a very hazed & effervescent gold with 2 fingers of ivory head, plenty of floaties. Average head retention & lacing
S: Citrus & melon
Follows the nose, some tangerine, grapefruit, mango & a little green melon up front. Sweet orange & green melon as this warms. Finishes sweet with orange, mango, green melons & dryness
MF: Medium body, fairly assertive carbonation, nice balance
Very drinkable with good flavor
