Soft, subtle, and so clean you can taste the field the barley grew in. Less is more in these lagers, and balance is the goal. The yeast, time, and talent we put into our Helles light notes of honey and soft herbal hops with just a hint of bitterness.
Subtlety can't be faked, which is why this is one of our favorite styles to make.

I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a slightly hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grain and biscuit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Straw yellow body with a finger of white head. Biscuit, cracker, honeycomb, grassy and floral hops. Taste is more rustic with the bread and cracker, grassy hops are pretty strong on the finish. Body is medium to light with a crisp finish, but with the higher carbonation and hop texture is a little more pronounced than it needs to be for style. Still a good beer for the lake in the summer

Gold in color with a hazy complexion. There’s a fingernail of off white on top. The aroma is of sourdough bread and faintly grassy hops. I’m tasting grassy hops and a suggestion of sourdough bread. The mouth is very light and approachable.

$2.59 for a 16oz can. 5.5% ABV, 18 ibu.
Pours out to a clear medium golden, forming a rocky white head with good retention and lacing. Carbonation is moderate, ~2.5 carbs. The nose is very faint, not much character, just a little sulfur and yeast. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean and medium bodied. The taste is very nice. Clean plain malts with a well balanced bitterness and subtly spicy hop flavor. Clean, simple, tasty, classic. Very well done, no off flavors or aromas. A helles as it should be. Very well brewed and recommended.
