Billed as a hazy, but not the DDH hazy usually presented. This is more of a true NEIPA. It's almost clear, little head, faint nose of hops. Not really a fan, there's no real fruit nose or taste, just a toned down dank hoppy-ness, not too bitter, but nothing to balance it out so it doesn't stand up by itself either.

Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass

This beer pours amber and hazy with golden highlights. Suspended yeast is visible. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.

Whiffs of booze. I get citrus. Orange stands out to me.

Boozy flavor. Citrus tries to get thru, but mainly boozy and citrus.

Medium bodied with a biting mouthfeel

Drinks more like a TIPA without the sweetness that a lot of them have.

 

 

 

 

 

A - Pours a lightly hazed gold with a large foamy white head. Heavy amount of soapy lacing.

S - Aroma is orange, pineapple and grassy hops.

T - The taste is pineapple, orange, passionfruit, grapefruit and lingering hop bite in the finish.

M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a soft crisp finish.

O - This is more WCIPA than NEIPA. Solid nonetheless.

Poured from a can , dated 9-13-23, into a tulip glass.
It is the color of honey, not as hazy as some of Old Nations NEIPAs.
1-2 finger head , which stayed long into the drink. Excellent lacing.
9% ABV, though taste of alcohol is not prevalent.
A little on the sweet side, which is okay with me. I think it actually drinks lighter than M-43, and Boss Tweed, which are 2 of my favorites.
Very good beer.
