A collaboration beer with Urban Chestnut of St. Louis, Missouri.
A German-style Maibock brewed with German Saphir and French Aramis hops. It's soft body and lightly toasted aroma make it a perfect beer to welcome the warmth of summer.

I had this on draft 11/7/24 @ the Hopleaf.
Semi-opaque dark orange appearance.
Big khaki head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lacing remained.
Waffle cone, mild strawberry & mild caramel notes in the nose.
Medium thick, syrup-y mouthfeel.
Vanilla syrup & mild cardboard flavors.
A delightful nose which was a real drag on the palate.
Kind of a mindfuck, but overall unpleasant.

A tasty beer brewed with hops that are not traditional of a Maibock, but the brewers probably nailed the taste that they wanted. Maibocks are my favorite style and I don't appreciate the taste difference from the traditional.
