I got a 4pck of tall boy cans of this beer from my local meijer store. It poured an opaque dark with thin tan ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had cocoa notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with chocolate malt base with bold cherry presence and vanilla highlights. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Pours a rich chocolate color with a robust two finger head. Aroma is chocolate and cherry. Taste is quite cherry at first with an underlying milk chocolate flavor. Vanilla, such as it is, seems to hit at the end and only by a whisper. Very like a milk stout.

Aroma is chocolate/milk chocolate/chocolate mousse and vanilla. The flavor is dark/roasted malts, chocolate/mousse, a hint of vanilla sweetness and an acidic/very slightly sour finish.

Pours a very dark brown with a large dark brown head. Has a strong smell of sweet milk chocolate. Taste is of notes of sweet chocolate and hints of barley.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid imperial pours a
dark blackish brown with a very nice head of brwon foam that settles
to a thick ring, thin layer, and sports some very nice lacing. Nose of
dark chocolate, vanilla, moderate char, deep roast, and cherries. Flavors
surpass the nose with a nice presentation of dark cocoa, cream, char, roast,
cherry, and earthy malt nuances. Mouth feel is full, smooth, medium light
carbonation, moderately coating, and finishing lightly tart and moderately
dry.
Overall, a great brew with a solid "equal the sum of it's parts" interpretation
of something that could of easily been overly sweet, but this is nicely
balanced.
Cheers
