Night Shift pours dark as midnight but drinks with the ease of a lager. Notes of toasted bread, cocoa, mild coffee, and a hint of dark chocolate ride a smooth, clean base, finishing crisp and dry. A no-nonsense Schwarzbier built to keep pace with long hours. It is steady, balanced, and ready for whatever the night brings.

Pours a dark mahogany brown and settles black with tinges of mahogany brown around every edge and a fluffy tan head that leaves a cap on the body of the beer and thick ropes of lacing. Gorgeous Schwarzbier.
The nose features loads of cocoa, roasty malt, and freshly brewed coffee, and the taste features all of those flavors, especially the roasty malt and coffee, and there’s a delicious bittersweet chocolate at the back of the palate that provides a lingering bitterness.
The mouthfeel is crisp and crushingly dry, perfect for the style. What a wonderful Schwarzbier this is, IMHO.

This beer is a really great representation of the style. It appears a nearly opaque black, with a massive head that disappears rather quickly, leaving only moderate lacing. Aroma is a little faint, but features pleasant roasted notes. Taste features coffee, toasted bread, and just a hint of dark chocolate. Mouthfeel is full bodied with a nice amount of carbonation.
