Super clear, amber beer with a white head. Spotty lacing. Smells malty and sweet with floral notes. Sweet tasting with malt, peppery rye, floral flavors and piney bitterness. Great beer.

A: Pours a clear medium to dark copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate amber + dark golden yellow + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a finger thick medium to large cap in the center surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of toasted + cereal grain + bready + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by light aromas of earthy + pine hops.

T: Upfront there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of toasted + cereal grain + bready + caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of earthy + pine hops which contribute a light amount of bitterness which slowly fades away leaving some lingering toasted malts.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly slick with a clean finish.

O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable - kinds of seems like a hybrid of a Vienna Lager and Munich Dunkel Lager with an American hop bill. I could easily have a couple of these.

Clear copper with a thick mousse-like head on top. Smells like fresh wort with a grassy green hop edge. Clean toasted cereal malts and some earthy hop bitterness on the back end. Slick medium-light body, good carbonation, and crisp. Simple and pretty delicious.
