A - probably one of the best-looking nitro beers I've had in awhile pillowing affect was pretty spot-on with a half inch of froth settling atop a hazy Amber color.
S - pretty much the personified affect one would expect with this beer cheap sugary vanilla meets some mandarin orange with just a slice of lime.
T - sweet sugary vanilla meets candied oranges and a slight twist of lime in the finish
M - quite good light to medium in body nitro makes it real frothy

Overall I'm kind of speechless this beer is exactly as advertised like one of those cheap 90s push pops with good orange flavor and tons of sugar. I love gimmicky beers that work!

I may have failed on that previous Nitro CAN, but there was no way that The CANQuest (tm) was going to allow an epic fail twice in a row! We have a reputation to uphold here, people. Sheesh!

From the N2 CAN: "Hazy Citrus Ale"; "Employee Owned. Righteously Independent (tm)";
"Super SMOOTH with citrus notes and a silky finish"; "Good to go from the CAN[,] Like a pro in a glass"; "11 IBU"; "Ingredients[:] Rocky Mountain water, Malted Barley, Mandarin Oranges, Limes, Lactose, Hops, Yeast"; "Caution: Contents under pressure. Keep cold. Avoid shaking. Point away from self and others when opening."; Brewed on the banks of the might St. Vrain/Est. 1993".

I ensure that this one was totes energized before Crack!ing open the vent, not through shaking, but by way of a few inversions. The HISS! as the vent opened told me that I was successful in my endeavor so I CANtinued with an inverted C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. The cascade was picture-perfect & beCANe just over a finger of dense, foamy, bone-white head with tremendous retention. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose was redolent with Mandarin Oranges. 8=O They were a treat when I was a kid as my Pops would make Chun King Chow Mein from a CANned kit in a cast-iron skillet on the stove to be served over rice. CANned Mandarin Oranges for dessert. Mmm. We didn't have a lot of money in the early-to-mid 1970s, but Pops could cook & he knew how to stretch a dollar. Mouthfeel was thin & watery, but creamy as heck thanks to the N2 charge. The taste was Mandarin Oranges with a spritz of lime juice! 8=O This was yummy. Finish was smei0sweet with the lime juice keeping the sweetness in check. As with any dessert, I would not want a steady diet of a treat, but as a treat, it was very nice. YMMV.

Sampled in taster glass from draft at Whole Foods Market on August 9, 2019. Hazy citrus ale with notes of orange and lime, a hint of sweetness and a silky smooth finish.

Left Hand Brewing Company "Push Pop Party Nitro"
13.65 fl. oz. can, "BEST BY:11/16/2019" and sampled on 08/23/2019
$2 @ Wegmans, King of Prussia, PA

Notes via stream of consciousness: Firstly I have to say that I hate the name, not that that has anything to do with the beer. It just seems like some grade school "party" that's really just an excuse to not have class and supposedly treat the kids. I always hated those things. Moving on, a crack of the can followed by a short pause and then an inverted pour and glug, glug, glug I've got a great looking "nitro" brew in front of me. It's very hazy but not cloudy like a hefeweizen, and the cap is a beautifully dense and creamy bright white. The aroma is mild orange. It actually smells like a real orange though. Ahh, it says right on the label, "ale with Mandarin oranges and limes added". Nice. On to the flavor... It's sweetish but also a touch acidic, which would be expected. I get the orange upfront and the lime in the end. There's malt to it but not much, it's more of a sweetish orange drink with alcohol. That's OK, I have no problem with that, but it's a little vapid. I'm looking for more complexity but it's not there. On the other hand, maybe it's the nitro presentation that's softening and smoothing over some of the finer details. I don't know. It's OK I guess. The mouthfeel is, as might be expected, quite nice with a medium body and smooth, velvety feel. So, what to say about this overall? I like it. It's nicely done. I find it balanced although I hate lactose, but I see how it works for most people here, adding to the smoothness. It's interesting that it has the word party in the name because that's pretty much the only time I'd drink one of these, at a party. Otherwise I want a more bitter, straightforward beer, but that's just my personal preference. If you like these kinds of things it's really well done.

L - Creamy orange/golden with a creamy white head that sticks around and leaves some lacing behind.
S - Tons of citrus on the nose - orange and lime very prevalent. Some cream in there as well. Smells like an orange dreamsicle.
T - Follows the nose with a lot of citrus - orange and especially lime. Some sugary soft cream/vanilla in there along with some pale malts and wheat.
F - Medium to full bodied with a light amount of carbonation. Creamy and smooth, but like a lot of nitro beers, leaves a very watery mouthfeel.
O - The flat watery mouthfeel and addition of lime really turn me off of this one - it almost starts to give me vibes of bud light with lime, which is not a good thing. Interesting idea, but it just doesn't really work out well.

As a leader in the craft beer community at infusing nitrogen into their beers, the brewers at Left Hand set their sights on the drinker's willingness to dabble in the whimsy, the unique, the all inclusive cleverness in beer along with our wonderment of childhood pushups treats.

Pouring a luxurious milky gold color, the froth soon separates to create a silky ivory crown perched upon a golden orange haze. Its mild mannered scent of citronella, cream and soda before a creamy sweetness of vanilla cream, taffy and light cereal greets the tongue with a milkshake consistency.

As its superior creaminess begins to lighten on the middle palate, the strong flavor of mandarin oranges pop right out with burst of branch ripe succulence with a zesty tang. A brightness of lime follows suit while the lactose provides a milky sweetness to balance the bitter citrus oils with its hint of cream candy.

Light bitterness trails with a verbena and tea herbalness while the light and smooth ale trends effortless but somewhat thin on the late palate. A fast aftertaste of citrus, leaf and cream dissolves off the tongue to ensure a highly refreshing, clean and crisp taste.

16oz nitro can poured into a snifter

A- pours a hazy golden-orange with a thick and creamy white head that has great retention and leaves some lacing behind

S- aroma smells similar to a gose; zesty orange and grapefruit, lime zest, vanilla cream and sweet malt

T- citrusy up front with notes of orange peel, grapefruit and lie zest. Mid-palate gives a hint of vanilla cream. The finish continues with equal parts lime and orange, providing a slightly tangly citrus linger

M- medium body with a thick and creamy mouthfeel, continues into a silky smooth finish, high drinkability

O- citrus takes front and center, the nitro makes for a highly drinkable summer time beer

Sure this beer is gimmicky but it is big fun and the idea of a push pop ice cream beer very well executed. The nitrogen gives it the required smoothness while the fruits make it really bright. Summer in a can!

Pours a light golden yellow, with a marshmallow like head from the nitrogen. Smells like lemon, cereal grains . Taste is all wrong,(think Lemon Pledge) The nitro turned this in a flat orange/lime tasting beverage with a lot of head. This is one style they missed the mark . Nitro can compliment so many beer types yet they pick a field and fruit on nitro. Feels flat, tasteless. Overall a mistake- If they managed to make this taste like an orange creamsicle it might have worked.
