Had EJ's ESB at The Bitter Alibi, Chattanooga, on draft into tumbler.

Pours light amber-gold with clarity and 1-finger, creamy, very light-tan head, with good retention, leaving sketchy lace down the glass. Clean bitter hop and mild caramel malt aromas off pour, then a little roast malt and some fruit aromas as warms. On tasting, begins mildly fruity and crisp, but smooth and creamy, with a little immediate mild caramel, which carries into some modest roast malt, and a clean, fruity, mildly roasty finish.

Deceptively light in appearance, but classic aromas deliver a nice, creamy balance between fruit, caramel and roast malts.
