Poured from a 12 oz can into a snifter. Color is a deep gold, not red. Some cans in my 6-pack were clear and others were hazy and over-carbonated, indicating quality control issues. Aromas of rye bread and citrus & pine hops. Spicy rye malt flavors and piney hops with moderate bitterness. This is a good rye ale, but quality could be better.
