A big offering to celebrate a big milestone: the 2-year anniversary of The Virginia Beer Company!
A dark base blending hefty amounts of Chocolate Malt, Roasted Barley, and Midnight Wheat creates a robust, jet black beer softened with additions of Flaked Oats. Complemented with a blend of maple & boozy sweetness contributed from time spent aging in Rum-Maple Syrup barrels, Waypost: Purple is inextricably linked to its sister variants, Waypost: Black & Waypost: Red, by unifying accents of chocolate on the finish.
This beer is ready to be enjoyed now or suitable for aging, fit to mark the milestones along your journey as it has for us.
Grain Bill: 2 Row, Munich, Chocolate Malt, Victory, Flaked Oats, Roasted Barley, Midnight Wheat, and Crystal 60. Hops: Columbus and East Kent Golding. Aging: Rum-Maple Syrup barrels.
