L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had an almost amber color and a slightly hazy consistency. There was an inch and a half of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Very good lacing.
S: A solid aroma of hops, citrus fruit, malt, pine, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a mild amount of pine (kind of fleeting), a good shot of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), a little malt (mostly in the finish), a lot of hops (a big factor), and a decent amount of tropical fruit (passionfruit). This is one of those oddly likable flavors. It has an aggressive character, but isn't overly obnoxious about it. Pretty tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A well done beer. Drinkable.

As far as Triple IPA's go, I don't have much experience. But this one makes me want to become more knowledgeable because WOW it doesn't drink like a 9.7% recipe. This is one of those low bitterness, high hop flavor brews - a lot of late addition hops, from what I was told by the staff. Full-bodied, citrusy, lovely head, and a slight but not unpleasant bite. Would drink again!

Poured a cloudy orange-gold body with minimal head and great lace patches. Acidic aroma that isn’t quite orange juice but it’s close. Smooth, fluffy body with a mild citric bitterness (not as acidic as aroma) and juicy, tart finish with good balance.
