Notes:
PROST! Just because Oktoberfest is a little different this year doesn’t mean we can’t hoist a round from afar! Our German-style Märzen, brewed with heaping helpings of Munich-style malt, finds its way to cans for socially distant celebrations in 2020. This copper colored Märzenbier rings in the Beer Garden season, whether here or at home!
Don’t be afraid to ask your neighbor if the seat six feet from them is taken, then grab a pretzel from the food truck and enjoy a round of beautifully brewed fall beer!

From the bottom of the can: "CANNED ON 08/16/22"
Appearance: The body is a dark golden-brown tea-like color. It has good clarity. The head is off-white and large with a fluffy and rocky consistency. It has pretty good retention but it fades out to a short cap. Small but decent wisps of lacing.
Aroma: There is a light herbal note and an accompanying malt aroma which plays well with the herbal character. A slight mineral water aroma.
Flavor: The beer has a pleasant malt flavor up front which tastes a bit like walnuts and brown bread. The middle is a light and pleasant herbal note which comes across a bit like a light tea with just a touch of moss. The flavors on the middle of the palate are light but they work well with the overall character of the beer.
Mouthfeel: The body is on the lower edge of medium and it feels well attenuated. There is a light bitterness to the beer that appears towards the back of the palate as a touch herbal and it works well with the malt flavor of the beer. The highlight is how drinkable this beer is; it is notably drinkable.
Overall: The can states that this is an "OKTOBERFEST" and that it is a "german-style marzen lage." It is a solid Märzen. It has good flavors and a decent enough aroma but the real highlight here is the drinkability. The beer feels well attenuated and clean enough that I would want to drink another one. It's a winner in my book and I would recommend it and buy it again.
