Notes:
DOUBLE FREE VERSE // Double Dry-Hopped Double India Pale Ale // 8.6% ABV
---
Juicy. Piney. Tropical.
A new take on Double Free Verse for our Four Year Freeversary. 2020's recipe is brewed in the same vein as our flagship Free Verse, with a heftier grain bill and the Double Dry-Hop to match.
Bigger ABV, double the Free Verse juiciness, and an old school DIPA hop bite on the back end.

A: The beer is quite hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left some lacing down the sides and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of floral hops are present in the nose along with notes of orange citrus.
T: The taste has flavors of floral hops along with notes of candied citrus. There is a light to moderate amount of coffee bean flavors.
M: It feels medium-bodied and slightly crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA isn't that heavy on the palate but has a nice contrast between the malts/coffee and the hops.
Serving type: can

Much preferred the 2020 version to the 2019 version (which was brewed with a Norwegian yeast strain). This has a ton of hop flavor and the Azacca really shines. Lots of tropical notes on the front and back sides, and just a touch of pine on the finish. Would drink again!
