Notes: Since 2016, Evil Santa has been coming to town once a year to ring in the holiday season. In celebration of the annual return of this seasonal Spiced Milk Stout, we ask our jolly friend to stick around for multiple variant releases culminating in the return of DOUBLE EVIL SANTA on Black Friday.

Double Evil Santa is an Imperial Spiced Milk Stout with a 11.3% ABV suited for the coldest of winter nights. A stronger version of our Evil Santa Spiced Milk Stout that has been aged in Bourbon Barrels for four months. Nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice are complemented by the caramel and vanilla notes that arise from extended barrel aging.

Available annually on Black Friday at an early opening time of 11 am.

I don't know if we need a new rating for Double Evil Santa 2022, so I will add mine here. This is a great Christmas brew. It features 2 "red flag" aspects....Bourbon barrel aging and holiday spicing. Both can easily be overdone and produce a mediocre beer. Happily that is not the case here!!! This beer weighs in at 11.3% abv but still features a robust dark tan/light brown head with good head retention and some lacing. I poured mine from a 16 oz can into a pint glass and observed a dense black body with no light coming through. Aroma and taste begin with slightly sweet bready malt and the bourbon barrel flavoring. The bourbon was not overdone and led the way to some cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and molasses - also quite expertly handled in the flavor department. Mouthfeel had a touch of harshness up front with the high alcohol content and bourbon flavoring, but then the lactose kicked in and sweet malt took over. For the most part it went down very smooth for a bourbon barrel aged, high octane beer. Very impressive holiday brew!!!!
