Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug. This batch is listed at 5% ABV.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: crackery, slightly toasty malt with a note of honey to it. A pretty solid blonde ale.
Taste: a little bit sweet with that honey note from the aroma; there’s just a hint of bitterness on the finish — just enough to balance things out. Not too bad at all.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I’m not normally a blonde ale guy, but this is reasonably solid, and I could imagine it being very quenching on a 110º Mexicali summer day.
