On-tap 1/28/2017 at the brewery in Providence, RI, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a light gold color, with a medium off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains piney hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a strong piney hops bitterness followed by some citrus and caramel sweetness. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.
M: Smooth and very crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Very tasty, goes down quite easily, not too filling, decent kick, very good representation of style, this is a very good IPA to drink for a long time.

Served in a tulip at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange hue the color and clarity of Tang (does anyone remember Tang the astronaut drink) with a loose, off-white head that disperses towards the edges into a thin, bubbly froth. Nice nose on this beer - citrus, pith and some earthy/herbal notes towards the back. Taste consistent with nose. This beer has a nice flavor profile (think a watered-down version of Focal Banger) with the Mosaic hops prominently showcased. Mouthfeel is light in body, perhaps a touch watery, with a pleasant, even carbonation. Overall, solid and easy drinking, albeit a touch thin. With a little more body, this beer would be a solid 4.0 in my opinion.
