On-tap 5/5/2017 at the brewery in Providence, RI, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a cloudy yellowish gold color, with a thin white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, floral and dank hops and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a strong burst of floral and dank hops bitterness. Then some juicy fruity sweetness comes in. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Very tasty, goes down quite easily, not too filling, good kick, very good representation of style, this is a very good IPA to pound down for a long time.
