Super hazy dark pineapple juice. Big tropical, citrusy and juicy hop aroma and flavor; fruity and dank. Good balance; this one has it all without the Motueka funk. Medium bodied and creamy smooth.

Lots of subtleties. The surprising note: white pepper...undeniable...and pleasant. Got a pretty distinct floral/berry thing on the nose, not so much on the palate. A playful beer, shall we say...and a good one.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow pour, thin, silky white head. Fruity, citrusy aroma, sharp edge, hint of dank. Taste mellows a bit, slight citrus zest, light citrus flavors, dries out a little. Tangy notes linger on the palate.

Canned 4/13/23. “Hopeless” stamped on the bottom of the can
I don’t typically buy many cans from Long Live, as I’m usually drinking at the brewery, but when I saw a beer on the shelf that’s a reference to The Bouncing Souls I figured I might as well get it. Let’s crack it open and see what it has to offer
Pours a hazy pale gold with 3 fingers of soapy white head that sleeps fades to a cap and leaves decent lacing
The nose is almost reminiscent of Tree House’s yeast profile, so they must be using a similar yeast. I’m picking up on aromas of overripe cantaloupe, mango skin, orange juice, doughy malt, grassy hops, light vanilla, lemon zest, and white pepper
It’s quite similar in taste but brings a tad more bitterness into the fold for balance. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting orange zest, bready malt, overripe cantaloupe, pineapple juice, grassy hops, mango skin, white pepper, and light papaya. The swallow brings notes of overripe cantaloupe, mango juice, pineapple juice, doughy malt, floral hops, orange zest, papaya, and a touch of honey
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a smooth beer. Finishes neutral and balanced
This one is awesome even for being a bit older. I think I need to pick up some fresher ones next time I stop by the brewery
