As far as looks, it doesn't get much better than this. Could be a touch danker, but I really can't complain. Big citrus notes on the nose with a touch of cattiness. It's a 10%'er in ABV, and you can taste the booze. I don't drink to get drunk, and it's a bit off-putting.

Pours a dull, milky orange with a hazy clarity and no head. Nose reveals hints of sweet citrus and lactose. Taste expresses citrus, lactose and pith. Finish is slightly herbal and medicinal. Mouthfeel is light0medium in body with an almost still carbonation, reminiscent of a cask-conditioned ale. Overall, a bit subdued for a 10% triple IPA.

Drank on tap at Long Live Beerworks, Providence, RI
Served in a tulip
Milkshake like appearance. The opaque, ultra pale straw yellow body was topped by a finger-tall, bubbly white crown that fell to a thin collar. Odd shaped patches of lacing stuck along the glass.
The nose was subtle initially but really intensified with time. Tropical fruit notes were apparent. Guava and papaya specifically. Moderately sweet. As the beer warmed, a dank, weedy quality appeared and soon took over. Fresh, high quality bud came to mind.
The flavor profile was a cornucopia of ripe tropical fruitiness. Guava, mango and papaya dominated. A Juicy Fruit gum quality was also noticeable. Quite sweet but appropriately so for the style. Slightly wheaty in the center. Some dankness appeared as the beer warmed. Like in the nose, the dankness really intensified by the drink’s end.
Super soft, creamy, fluffy mouthfeel. Completely full bodied for the style. Almost smoothie like. The liquid contained an ultra fine, tongue blanketing effervescence that frothed up beautifully.
Triple IPAs can often be overly sweet and boozy, but Three Headed Cat was fantastic in every regard. Both the flavor and aroma were amazingly fruity and surprisingly well balanced for the style, and the mouthfeel could not be any more creamy and plush.
Long Live Beerworks has an amazing space with an impressive lineup of beers, terrific food and a friendly, helpful wait staff. I look forward to my next trip to Providence so I can visit them again.
