Canned 7/30/20
This was a small batch release from Long Live that I couldn’t pass on. I picked up a 4 pack and they ended up selling out shortly after, I have high hopes for this
Pours completely pitch black with a single finger of very dark brown head that quickly fades to a cap and leaves no lacing
Good lord this smells sweet. I get tons of honey, marshmallow, vanilla, graham cracker, and milk chocolate. It almost feels sloppy with all that’s going on
The taste isn’t as bad...at first. Starting off the sip, milk chocolate and mild coffee roast. On the swallow however, this is sickly sweet, like getting a handful of marshmallows shoved down your throat and washing it down with honey and chocolate. This is hard to drink at points
This has a full body and almost no carbonation, leading to a cloyingly sweet finish. In its defense, it’s drying on the finish and hides its alcohol super well
Yo listen, I love to support my locals and these guys are usually great, but this is probably the most repulsively sweet beers I’ve ever had. If it wasn’t for the quick buzz from the 12.5%, this would be a drain pour. Holy fuck, this was not worth my money

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
