The marshmallow is the predominant aroma and flavor here, with some further vanilla-ness provided by the vanilla bean conditioning. Light rye-like spiciness in the flavors. Sweet fudge abounds. Overall pretty good but quite expensive

Aromas of toasted marshmallow, strong chocolate and roasted coffee. Very dark color after pour. Tastes sweet, sugary, again strong coffee taste. Somewhat boozy but finishes nice and strong so you know your drinking a great pastry stout. Very little lacing, nice toffee caramel head but dissipated extremely fast. Overall a pretty good libation.

I generally dislike marshmallow in beers, but in this case, it’s more s’mores than artificial flavor that I always taste in beers like this. The sugary additives kill the head, and even with a strong swirl, it dissipates like champagne bubbles. Flavors are.. fine.. Toasted marshmallow, bitter dark chocolate, vanilla.. It tastes good, but it’s sort of basic and uninspired. When I taste a new beer, I like to find unique elements that make it exciting and fun to explore, but this is just like, a stout with flavoring. It could have been bolder, it could have had more depth, and it could have been richer.
