An imperial stout aged in Woodford Reserve sour mash bourbon barrels for 22 months. We then blended it with raw coconut, toasted coconut and coconut candy.
The stout has a rich aroma of coconut and oak, and tastes of chocolate-covered cherries and sweet coconut balanced by the barrel characteristics.
Coconut Nights is smooth-bodied and highly drinkable.

A - Dark brown pour with little to no lacing and very viscous with thick legs on the sides of the glass.
S - Toasted coconut and Bourbon on the nose with light toasted chocolate and some alcohol presence.
T - Toasted coconut, oak, Bourbon, delicate chocolate malt is buried deep below, and alcohol.
M - Thick and syrupy body with a tad bit of frothiness around the edges.
O - My first beer from this brewery and looking forward to trying more. This is the real deal - recommended.

Pours as a deep black thing tan head ring around the edge of the glass. The smell is a bit boozy, some sweet caramel bourbon wood. The taste of the beer has a nice coconut flavor, subtle roast pretty solid start to finish. The feel is creamy, nice milky feel. Overall the beer showcases the coconut really well. I Enjoyed this quite a bit.
